Is the loading bar just a fake animation?
Surely such a search should only take no more than a couple seconds to complete.
If the "progress bars" were indicating any real work, they would be randomly jumping forward, quickly, to indicate the progress, not smoothly filling up.

Once a customer is logged into an account, our reports typically load within seconds. I believe the progress bars you are describing are in our sign up process, and they are designed to give us some time with the potential customer to educate them on what BeenVerified provides, explain what can be included in the report, where the information comes from, who uses BeenVerified and why. If you have any additional questions about our service, please don't hesitate to contact us directly at support@beenverified.com.

No, it is the fake animations when you do a search without signing in; they are more than likely dragging down the ratings.
People here are not amused by fake user interface elements.

I have gone through all of the major "background check" type services trying to get a phone number for a former coworker, so I could touch bases with him again.
Years ago I should have written down the number when I could still get it publicly. Wonder what he'd think when I let him know my boss finally gave me the axe?
Now it will be hard for me to know without ponying up to a service like this one.

The report from this company seems good. From what I recall, I just didn't want to buy it, and I believe the ad I saw said there was a free trial, and there wasn't. However, that wouldn't prompt me into making a report good, bad or otherwise. I've no idea whether this is a good site; unless I were invited to beta test it I couldn't because I won't pay for it. Some data will have been modified in any case by established governmental procedures. DO NOT ASK, sorry; I won't and can't reply.
