Who are these competitors?

Yandex describes your software as 'Riskware', whilst others detect a PUP

Thank you for your reply!

So here is an example of a competitor thats selling advertising on their site that competes with various similar products:

https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/

We dont believe BleepingComputer is doing this - but someone who may be an affiliate of theirs is.
Also - Malwarebytes, spy-bot search and destroy, AVAST.

As you read the reviews - almost none are from people who have actually used our products. In fact there are some references to our Anti-Virus being fake - when in fact we use a reputable AV engine that is licensed from a top 10 AV company.

Yandex is also a PUP: https://www.sophos.com/en-us/threat-cen ... owser.aspx

I hope the above helps. If I made any mistakes - please let me know.

Your site is registered to a 'direct-response marketing company'. Why do you think the software you sell can compete with software from security experts such as Malwarebytes or Avast?

They are similar to the comments on scorecards for most sites that offer software that claims to speed up your computer but can instead cause issues.

Thank you for your reply Shaza

We recently acquired the company - so the ownership of the domain will soon show a different company.

MyCleanPC is not an anti-virus software, and we have never marketed it as such. We dont compete with Avast or Malwarebytes.
We only include our AV software when someone subscribes to one of our premium subscriptions.

This points again to inaccurate representation by the posts here - which confuse our product with Anti Virus software.

You previously claimed Avast or Malwarebytes are your competitors.

Many of the comments are over 3 years old, so I can't comment on the software you were offering then.
As for the software you're offering now I trust the AVs who detect issues with it considerably more than an unknown owner offering a product which is at best unnecessary and potentially dangerous.

Yes - for some reason a few AVs still detect mycleanpc as a PUP - but most dont. We are working with the ones that detect us as a PUP to have the listing removed and most have agreed to do so. MyCleaPC has been used by millions and we have over 50k reviews on our product, by real users, most of which are happy with our products/services.

I am sure we can improve our product and thats why we want to engage WOT users.

We really appreciate your feedback. Very helpful

If you acquire a website with such a bad reputation, it's asking for problems.

Historical info in former forum discussion. : reputation-discussions-f5/verycleanpc-com-t3832.html

I'll take a look at the situation on of these days, but don't expect me to believe you just on your blue eyes.
