So, Amobirius, was it just CNET? Or is it toparcadehits?

I got toparcadehits through the cnet downloader.

Try and get it without it, and see what that does.

Next question, was that TopArcadeHits downloaded as a main program or is it an ad for itself? If it is an ad, you can skip it by clicking "Decline" on that suspicious Install Manager and the desired software will download, and to avoid junkware lurking your system (see example picture below)

Legend: Green box = Safe (but expect the crap to leave an ad installer), Red Box = Junkware installs / Prepare to clean up your PC mess. The cancel (or don't run/download the CNET executable) shows the safest ones.
From this example, The main program is "MediaCoder" (a multimedia converter), while the ad software is "SelectionLinks" (a PUP that lurks useless toolbar into your browser). Sometimes main programs are also ad programs, especially those junkware, toolbars, ad-supported,...
[EDIT]
It shows that TopArcadeHits is both main and ad program. Steer away , as I stated before.

Echo , I used to like CNet even with some small problemsx, but I stop using it , I no longer trust it
I had used filehippo.com w/o any problem so far

Actually its a ad and a program
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/496414/toparcadehits-games-virus/
http://download.cnet.com/TopArcadeHits/3000-2121_4-75912245.html
it force installs (even if u say no), and note some people dont know how much junk is on their PC, you are a advanced user not a normal user
"After I downloaded a file extension changer from cnet, this software was forcibly installed onto my computer. I had specifically chosen custom install and un-ticked any boxes allowing the installation of third-party software. This software acts like a virus, toggling random popups when the user is browsing sites, and opens up random surveys."
From that cnet link

Hello,
I got your point. My post is now edited. I posted it because I asked one user (Amobirius) if that was main program or an ad for itself, then I illustrate (to him) what is main program and an ad program in CNet. Anyways, I already know them as adware. Thank you for reply.

RE: toparcadehits.com Virus/CNet Malware
I can confirm this site and installer comes even if you attempt to opt-out during a CNET download - Along with several other BHO's. CNET should now be red in all honesty. Ashame they went to the darkside. I remember years ago they weren't so bad.
