Re: toddstarnes.com – pants on fire

Post by A440 » Sun Jun 14, 2020 2:46 pm

This is a classical, political disinformation, click-bait site that should be down rated:

toddstarnes.com

ToddStarnes.com reports news with a far-right bias that is not always factual as evidenced by several failed fact checks and the promotion of conspiracy theories as seen at mediabiasfactcheck.com.

Failed Fact Checks:
  • The Austin Independent School District board voted to mandate “a pornographic sex education policy that includes instruction on anal sex and how to place a condom on an erect penis.” – Mostly False
“Students at the University of Texas in Austin have been advised not to wear cowboy boots or cowboy hats on Halloween.” – False
Liberals have figured out a Facebook algorithm and “all the people getting banned from Facebook are somehow conservatives.” – False
A new high school textbook describes U.S. President Donald Trump as “mentally ill” and his supporters as racist. – Mostly False
Churches are required by the local government to record and register lists of attendees for tracking purposes in Kansas City, Missouri. – False

Re: Americanthinker.com – an oxymoron if ever

Americanthinker.com is yet another site that promotes political innuendo, conspiracies, false information, etc. as being newsworthy. They even praise Kyle Rittenhouse, who is currently being processed for murder, as being "cool":
www(dot)americanthinker.com/articles/2020/09/the_four_young_men_who_may_help_carry_our_nation_through_these_tough_times.html
. . . According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, American Thinker has published Anti-LGBT articles, as well as those by prominent white nationalist, Jared Taylor. Further, American Thinker routinely publishes conspiracy theories, such as those by Pamela Geller, who is also on the SPLC’s hate watch list due to anti-Islam positions: Report: Obama said ‘I Am a Muslim’, which has been debunked as a false claim. They have also promoted conspiracies about the Seth Rich Murder and they have published numerous articles that are not supportive of the consensus of science, such as this one: The Hoax of ‘Climate Change’

There are liars and then there are – political disinformation sites that spread harmful information:

americasfrontlinedoctors.com

See: www.nytimes.com/2020/07/28/technology/virus-video-trump.html
and:
www.mediabiasfactcheck.com/americas-frontline-doctors/

This group has knowingly promoted lies and disinformation by creating and spreading a disinformation video, which in turn was spread on social media. They also likely have a connection to the Tea Party Patriots – a known political agitator group:
(this) video had been designed specifically to appeal to internet conspiracists and conservatives eager to see the economy reopen, with a setting and characters to lend authenticity.

naturalcures.com

Yet another site that promotes medical quackery. This site promotes the views of several quack pseudoscientists such as Mercola, Dr. Oz, and Mike Adams from Natural News. Finally, NaturalCures.com features original articles that do not offer hyperlinked sourcing such as this Resisting Media Hype.

Re: Newsblaze.com

Post by A440 » Fri Aug 14, 2020 1:47 pm

This site is yet another rumour mill, conspiracy site which promotes extremely biased political disinformation as well as psuedoscience.

newsblaze.com
Most of their political news favors the right and is anti-left. They also frequently use emotion invoking rhetoric in their headlines and articles. Sometimes they refer to Questionable propaganda sources such as RT and other times they don’t source at all and promote conspiracies, such as this: “As The Deep State Unravels.” Article headlines are frequently emotional such as this Renewable Energy Risks Destroying The Environment and Economy. This story is sourced to organizations that deny or minimize human-influenced climate change such as the Heartland Institute and Watts Up with That.

Nationalsecurity.news

Post by A440 » Sun Aug 16, 2020 8:40 am

This is yet another Mike Adams site that is a source of gossip, psuedoscience, political disinformation, click-bait:

nationalsecurity.news
NationalSecurity.News is an extreme right-wing biased source that frequently promotes false or misleading information regarding vaccines, alternative health, and government conspiracies. For more information read our review on Natural News. Politically, all Mike Adam’s stories favor the right and promote pseudoscience such as chemtrails, the Sandy Hook shooting being a false flag: Sandy Hook was theater! Actor who played law enforcement sniper was recorded walking around carrying rifle by the magazine. Further, they routinely publish anti-vaccination propaganda and conspiracy theories. Lastly, this source denies the consensus on climate change without evidence, as seen here: Climate change cultists are now taking over your local weather forecast.

Patriots4truth.org – how low can one get?

Post by A440 » Sun Aug 16, 2020 8:49 am

This site was founded in 2017, Patriots for Truth is an extreme right-wing conspiracy and pseudoscience website. A domain search indicates that Schoolhouse Learning Communities owns the domain. According to their about page, they are affiliated with the conspiracy website American Intelligence Media.

Patriots4truth.org
Patriots for Truth publishes news stories that are often conspiratorial and false. For example, they reported that Vice Presidential Nominee Kamala Harris is not a USA citizen: U. S. Senator Kamala Harris is not a United States citizen. Demand her deportation immediately. In this story, they post a variety of documents trying to prove she is a citizen of Jamaica and not the USA. Kamala Harris was born in Oakland, California, and is a natural citizen through birthright. When not promoting birtherism they conjure up conspiracy theories regarding 5G serving as a weapon: 227 Million Americans GONE by 2025! as well as wild conspiracies regarding the Coronavirus: Definitive proof that Coronavirus is a globalist bioweapons. Besides conspiracies, they also promote pseudoscience such as anti-vaccine propaganda. In general, virtually everything on this website is either fake, false, or misleading.
