Discord, legitimate chat or cyberbully haven?

Post by Site-rater » Fri Dec 14, 2018 3:25 am

I have recently been having issues regarding a user on Discord sharing screenshotted content (unrelated to WOT) on Discord, and sharing CDN links for which I cannot report to their abuse.

Have any users here had any experiences, positive or negative, regarding Discord?

No experience here; but Google> cyberbullying on Discord chat
and start with the top return (Reddit). There is *not* a huge number of returns that would suggest it is a hotbed of bullying.

Unfortunately if I give a link to content stored on Discord's CDN but shared outside of Discord, they send me in circles.

It is a group chat system like most others, but originally aimed at gamers, and now used by a lot of developers.
What you find there is down to the users and groups, not the host company.
Complaints should be directed to the admin of the discord server the user is in (just the same as with IRC)
