Notifications about profile messages?

Apparently there are no notification to user about messages left in profile?

A feature missing or I missed some setting somewhere?

And in case the person whose msg I apparently ignoredreads this, sorry It wasn't intentional. I usually do my best to reply in one way or another if someone wishes to contact me.

I second this feature request. A simple number next to your name (top right) would help you to see if, and how many new messages you have.

Indeed, nothing fancy is needed, just something little to give user the heads up to check his/hers profile

Well, there's a feed, which you can add to a reader of your choice. Perhaps we can think of something else for those who aren't using one.

Yes, it may be handy when asked to review a comment. Some websites that ask for review do redirect or maybe down due to technical reasons, great if they could ask reviewer to re-evaluate more easily?
Even in scorecard? (then newbies do not go balistic in forums )

I think the best solution would be to include the functionality in WOT - in stead of hoping that people uses 'feeds'. They may be popular, but I don't use them and I doubt that I'm the only one...

We implemented the feature that Rob and Lordpake suggested. Now when you have unread comments on your board there will be a number after your user name, e.g. "Timo (1)". Thanks for the suggestion!
