The WOT plugin for Internet Explorer 11 is causing crashes almost every time when I opened a new tab. This is severely impacting my browsing experience. I had to disable the plugin until this is fixed.
The plugin for Internet Explorer have not been updated since 2nd September 2013. That is way too outdated. WOT is the most important plugin for me and I feel unsafe without it. (Call me paranoid, I don't mind.)
Please update the plugin and fix the compatibility with Internet Explorer 11. And please make sure it is completely compatible with the Enhanced Protected Mode. Thank you.

I'm using the 20130902 add-on on IE 11 with EPM enabled right now, and cannot reproduce the problem. It is fully compatible. If you are experiencing a reproducible crash, please follow the instructions in the FAQ and submit an error report.

Can you elaborate on why you feel it's outdated? The plugin for Internet Explorer have not been updated since 2nd September 2013. That is way too outdated.
As long as you use Internet Explorer, I don't think anyone is going to call you paranoid about safety. Have you considered something better, like one of the Chromium based browsers? Google Chrome or Opera, perhaps?Call me paranoid, I don't mind.
RE: WOT crashing Internet Explorer 11
chrome ??? why should I switch, am I suppose to trust google. Why not just fix WOT since it is buggy if it keeps crashing ie11 or remove it as ie add-on. It is complete nonsense to suggest changing your browser.

Version of WOT for Internet Explorer is not supported currently and it's outdated by almost two years. Microsoft has shown that they are moving to addons-free direction thus there might be no future for WOT for that browser.
If you uncomfortable with Google Chrome, there are plenty of other browsers based on Chromium engine. WOT should work with most of them:

RE: WOT crashing Internet Explorer 11
Very sad if WOT may not support future editions of IE. I have had trouble with both Firefox and Chrome in the past. Not to mention the millions of people who's businesses and networks are tied into IE. They need WOT to assist them with Internet Security.
