How nice. Dooms day feeling.

It's right that there are problems that have to be addressed and have to be solved. And it's right that Admins have not much contact anymore.

But it's also right that the company is still registered and the Add on still works.

So Mywot is not dead.

It's ok to address problems on the forum. At least most problems. But claiming that Myowt is dead is nonsense and it will damage Mywot. And it makes people happy who have no good intentions and don't like Mywot. If that's your aim, go on.

Thanks for your message, but since i can't post on your board, i assume it is ok to reply here.

I agree with you that one only should talk if he knows what he is talking about. And i strongly assume that i have made up my mind before posting. :)

I know that the creators of Mywot have left. That doesn't kill a project, though.

I didn't know about the funds problem. So maybe this is the end of Mywot. But that's no explanation why many here cklaim that Mywot is dead but still continue contributing. To a dead project.

I agree with you that the project isn't dead, and nowhere have I stated such; if I was to categorize its status I would say it's on "life support."

Yet you have to understand that there is much frustration among older members here. Think if I was to apply an analogy it would be like the older members have been driving a Ferrari and then handed a bicycle to get around and to be informed.

So please don't down our frustration when we had a motive to bring up such concerns.

There is some progress being made at WoT, but it's still a wait and see situation; I have to leave it at that; for it's admins right to explain any further.

BTW: Even on a closed board you can hit the reply button to a sent message.

Glad you're here and willing to keep moving forward.

Seems to be a misunderstanding. I haven't talked about you. It was a general impression that people believe the project is dead. And some clearly state that. Not you, of course.

And from what i heard and read about the "old times" on Mywot i understand taht things have changed. Any many changes haven't caused nice feelings. So yes, i understand the frustration. Indeed, some things haven't changed to good.

And about the reply thing: Thank you for the tip. Haven't seen or tried it yet.

I hope I didn't come on sounding harsh, I just speak very direct and sometimes my intent is taken wrong.
Again welcome to WoT.

http://www.sevenforums.com/browsers-mai ... sites.html

You sounded harsh, yes. But i prefer harsh, directly and with content instead of weak bla bla with no content or sense.
So it was fine for me. ;)

Thank you for the nice welcome.
