How does one do it..?

I normally log-on to WOT thru my H.P., it's now running deep scans so I entered using my Dell, a screen came up telling
me that it did know who I was but I was coming in thru a different computer, it synchronized my WOT settings so both computers,
or portals now recognize me for return visits/complete in every aspect of my profile.
Thing is I had used my Dell to log-on and browse posts B-4 using the Dell, this was the
1st time it synchronized both, a very useful function I thank the web-coders of WOT for incorporating.

Waddya mean the "old" way was "italic only"? You can (could) also do bold (strong) as in this sentence.

And as far as the "double quote", that's the way these things start off now anyway.

As phantazm asked, what's the "old" and the "new" procedure?

Oh, it´s the look, not the procdeure. Sorry for the misleading phrase.

The added double quote let it more appear like a quotation as it did before.
