Please review my site : 2-viruses.com
In comments, more than once
In comments, more than once I suggested using alternate OS scanners for people where I think it is best option. Typically, I suggest using scanner provided by antivirus company of their choice.
Two different things
@ giedrius,
You're talking about a virus scanner, I'm talking about using a LiveCD to retrieve data. So, the question again:
"How are the instructions for this any more difficult to follow than instructions for manual removal?"
And, the follow-up question:
"On your site, do you provide instructions for using the LiveCD to retrieve data?"

BobJam: On demand - I remember there were questions how to retrieve the data.
Should probably do a separate guide though, or link to an existing guide somewhere, thank you for idea.

@ giedrius,
For your evaluation:

hxxp://www.jonespcrepair.com/site4/2010/07/03/ ... very-tool/
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows- ... -computer/
(I used "hxxp" in the second one because it's not been rated yet and I didn't want to make it a live link).
Most of these guides instruct a user how to burn a LiveCD, but considering that the machine is infected, they may not be able to download the ISO anyway.
So I would advise a user to burn one while the machine is uninfected and just keep it handy for "that" time.

RE: 2-spyware.com
The Liutilities ads, to say nothing of the site, look too much like a normal download button (why you have download buttons pointing directly to .exe files in your sidebar is another issue). If these looked more like normal banner ads the site would look less shady.
Thanks
I like to thank everyone that took the time to look at giedrius site again.
True he is kind of goofy looking
Can be a pain (there is the kettle calling the pot black)
Yet he is a honest guy with good intentions
Beside he has a smoking hot wife, so how bad can he really be. ~smiles~
Seriously, thanks for looking and as promised, respecting your opinion and time.

RE: 2-viruses.com and 2-spyware.com
Why do you promote rogue software and also recommend it?!
Key:
[green]Green colour[/green] means safe.
[red]Red colour[/red] means rogue
2-spyware.com recommends:
[green]Malwarebytes anti-malware[/green]
[red]Spyhunter[/red]
[green]Spyware Doctor[/green]
[red]Stopzilla
XoftSpySE Anti Spyware[/red]
[green]Emsisoft Anti Malware[/green]
While 2-viruses.com promotes
[red]SpyHunter[/red]
Please explain why you promote and recommend rogues.
I do not trust websites promoting rogues
[red]Rated and commented[/red]
BTW The rogues website does have a [red]Poor, Very poor[/red] or [yellow]Unsatisfactory[/yellow] rating.
